
Day 1:
Arrive in Havana in the evening, money exchange, try sharing a cab to the city center, check in to accommodation;
Day 2:
Explore the Old Havana, take a walking tour around the historical center (The tour I took lasted 3,5 hours and packed with A LOT of great information.);
Day 3-4:
Viñales: hike around Valle de Dos Hermanas, bike ride to the caves and other valleys; you have options to go to the nearby beach or go for a horse ride.
Day 5-6:
Playa Larga / Bay of Pigs (Bahía de Cochinos): chill at Playa Caletón, explore the Zapata Swamp (Cienega de Zapata – you may want to for a crocodile or flamingo excursion), snorkel or scuba dive in Cueva de los Peces and Punta Perdiz;
Day 7-8:
Trinidad: Explore the city, let’s not miss the wonderful live music happening everywhere in town in the evening, ride a bike to Ancon beach / playa Ancón;
Day 9 – 10:
Havana: take a ferry to Casa Blanca where the giant Christ statue is located for a panoramic view of the city; check out the farther parts, walk along the Malecón, to Coppelia ice-cream and the Plaza de la Revolución, do last minute shopping and never stop exploring and enjoying live music everywhere.
